Running Track
Running is taken as sports or also necessary for training in many sports like football, hockey, cricket, swimming, and many other games which have some endurance components in it, it has both tastes as competition or training as well. Competitive running has classifications according to the distance or some times the obstacles on the running track define its types such as steeplechase or hurdles. Athletics is the most basic type of running events and it combines many other sports which require better running skills such as long jump, high jump, pole vault etc. most of the athletics running events are decided on the basis that which of the player have cross the line first. Or what time he took to cross the line.
Other types of running events except Olympics include cross country race, marathon, trail running, relay race, track running, fell running and road running. What ever be the type of running they all required a definite track and a definite goal for where to come. There are many types of running tracks, depend on what type of running event is marathon running, cross country running or trail running have no hard and fast rules about track, even they can be set to every type of track, either it may be a commercial road with traffic as well, either it may be a walking track from a village, either it may be hill side track either it may be a bridge, and trail running have even more difficult track in their regulations as trail runners have to cross and go through the waters, may be some lake or some stream, or pound, they have to go through trees and woods, they have to cross sands and deserts, they have to cross steep hill track so there is no need for special running track installation for their competition.
Similarly road running or cross country race also don’t need special track to be build for the competition to hold. A running track is required especially in Olympics and track running events. These running events many of indoor or out doors so classify the tracks as well, many sports construction companies are giver their services for installing running track and developing the tracks. IAAF have many regulations about the dimensions of a running track facts, material specifications, types of lines and their sequences, track divisions and colors etc. Many sports construction companies sites gives necessary information about standard running track size, they also provide many division of track according to the running events and according to the space requirements such as midgets running track, Olympics training running tracks, Olympic running tracks, road runner track, jogging track, high school and college running tracks, long distance training tracks etc.
Olympic running tracks required different coatings and artificial surfaces, mainly there are two types of Olympic track artificial surfaces AG and PD. AG surfaces are meant for outdoor use made of special blend of Polyurethane and EPDM rubber. These materials gives durability, strength, shock and jerk resistance as almost all the athletes have to wear spikes for running, weather resistance, water proof, safe, injuries prevention, and uniformity.
PD surfaces are also very common in Olympic running track, these tracks are also made from Polyurethane blends but they require special spray on the track which gives better results as compared to the EPDM so these surfaces are mostly used in outdoors running tracks and out door running events, as weather effects are more severe in out door tracks. Besides track specification these sports builders also give many utilities related to track cleaning and track safety. Some online platforms of runner’s students also give track basic information with pictures of running tracks. Also it describes the Running track size and so on as every runner what ever be the level must have the knowledge of running tracks in order to run on that track.
