Synchronized swimming or synchronised swimming is an individual and team water sport event in which swimmers have to move their bodies and perform different moves in a rhythm with music. Olympic synchronized swimming history started in 1984 when this game was introduced in Olympics menu. Olympic synchronized swimming has three events, single or solo event, duet event and group event. Duet events have two performers and group events normally have 6 participators.
The first gold medal in synchronized swimming was won by United States in Duet and group event.
